Chris Betts

Chris has nearly 30 years of experience in all aspects of affordable housing development and community revitalization. Prior to forming Betts Housing Partners, Chris was Senior Vice President of The Community Preservation Corporation, the nonprofit affordable housing financing intermediary based in New York City, a position he held since 2004. Before joining CPC, Chris held senior positions with two large affordable housing developers working in New York State and Philadelphia. From 1994 to 1996, Chris was Assistant Deputy Mayor in Philadelphia.

Chris earned a B.A. from Columbia University, a Master of Arts from the University at Albany, and a Master of Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
